Problem Solving - Wrinkling

Cause:

A rough, wrinkled paint surface occurs when uncured paint forms a "skin".  This can be caused by applying excess thickness or by applying a gloss coating before the undercoat has fully dried.

Solution:

Sand down to remove the wrinkled coating.  If using a primer, allow to dry thoroughly before applying the top coat.
